Building Twin Bed with Storage Drawers
Twin bed with storage drawers may seem like a waste: everything cubic footage covered with draping bedding, contributes nothing to neatness or storage room. By replacing a twin bed with storage drawers, you can add more than 30 cubic feet of accessible storage.
Sand all surfaces of your timber using coarse sandpaper. Set a long beam of an L, with the long end of the beam to the surface of the short. Screw using two screws. Add the other short beam to the free end of the long beam; turn your L to square C. Screw together like you did the first.
Slide the second long bar between the arms of the C until it runs parallel to the other long beam. The centers of the beams should be 16 inches apart. Screw in place as in the previous steps. Laid shortest beam between the arms of the C, which runs parallel with the short bars and the open side of the frame. It should be equidistant from each branch. Screw in place.
Place plywood to the frame twin bed with storage drawers so that it covers the open side and its inner edge runs along the middle of the central support beam. Set other sheet of plywood to cover the rest of the frame. Attach it to the first sheet: one near each edge and one in the middle. Sand all exposed debris with fine sandpaper.
